Alice Whittaker
BSc MMMS (Hons) FRANZCOG - Obstetrician
Dr Alice Whittaker is a caring and woman-centred obstetrician who joined Hatch in 2021.
She has been practicing obstetrics for ten years, both in Queensland and Western Australia throughout her training, as well as at Mater Mother’s Hospital where she worked as a Staff Specialist for four years.
She believes strongly in the power of collaborative care between midwives and doctors to best support women in their pregnancy, birth and post-partum phase. She loves empowering women in their journey to be mothers and is still moved by the joy of a new mum and dad when they see their baby for the first time.
Alice is a mother of a two year old little girl and loves spending time with her silly dancing, being in nature and doing yoga. When she is not at Hatch, she works as a gynaecologist in private practice and within Queensland Health.
