Dr Hayley Peckston is a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist providing comprehensive pregnancy and women’s health care at Mater Mothers’ Hospital, one of Queensland’s busiest tertiary maternity hospitals. With extensive experience managing both routine and high-risk pregnancies, Dr Peckston is committed to delivering evidence-based, compassionate care tailored to each woman and family.
Working within a leading tertiary referral centre, Dr Peckston cares for women across all stages of pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period, including complex obstetric presentations requiring multidisciplinary management. Alongside private obstetric care, she is actively involved in teaching, clinical governance, and supporting the next generation of medical professionals.
Known for her calm and approachable manner, Dr Peckston values clear communication and collaborative decision-making to ensure patients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their pregnancy journey.
Dr Peckston completed specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology through the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) and maintains ongoing involvement in continuing professional development and advances in maternity care. She completed her medical training here in Brisbane at the University of Queensland.
